Kogi State Government lost 213 Billion Naira to Ghost specialists in 16 years – Auditor General

The Kogi State Auditor General, Alhaji Yusufu Okala, has said that the state lost a giant measure of cash, roughly N213,034,857,280.44, to a class of elements he called “Apparition Workers/Unintended Beneficiaries.”

The Auditor expressed this when the Staff Screening and Validation Committee, mutually drove by the himself and the Auditor General of the Local Governments Areas, Mallam Usman Ahmed Ododo, presented their report to the State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, at a Stakeholders Forum held in Government House, Lokoja, Monday, July 25th 2016.
